What You Need To Know About Batt Insulation.

When people think of insulation, Batt insulation is what typically comes to mind first. Unlike spray foam insulation – Batt insulation is considered the most commonly made and used material for attic insulations in the Central Florida area. The flexible fibers of the fiberglass can fit almost any space if installed correctly. They come produced in rolls of either fiberglass and mineral wool (or rock wool).

Batt insulation is installed with a facing (kraft-faced Batts) which serves as a vapor barrier. However, in certain climates like the one we face here in Orlando – a separate, stronger vapor barrier is required. The "R-value" required depends strictly on the climate, local building codes, and the area in which you choose to insulate.

Why Should You Choose Batt Insulation?

Often the most poorly insulated area in our home’s thermal envelope is its attic space.  Insufficient insulation levels in your attic will result in significant heat gain or heat loss, resulting in very high energy bills. Batt Insulation can help reduce that loss.

Residential Insulation

Batt Insulation is one of the most commonly used types of insulation because the fiberglass form makes this material very easy to install and fit to almost any attic space where energy loss may be the most prevalent in your home.

See What Our Previous Customers Have To Say.

Quality work is our number one focus at Insulate It Solutions. Taking care of our customers in the home or office attic space with spray foam, blow in, and Batt fiberglass insulation.

I spoke to Travis on a Sunday and the crew was here the following Wednesday. The final price was what was quoted, which was a nice change from what has happened in the in the past with other contractors. He told me I would see an immediate difference, I was skeptical. HE WAS RIGHT! I timed the a/c cycle that morning before they began. Pretty impressive! Dan & Alex, the crew, were very friendly and explained what they were going to do. I was very pleased with how well they cleaned up, too. Alex literally vacuumed the yard to get the stray pieces that had spilled while Dan made sure everything was returned to how it was before they started (he had to move some stuff to gain access to the attic). The entire process was pleasant and professional. I would HIGHLY recommend them!!
